Forestry tracked machines designed and manufactured for 20 years by PLAISANCE EQUIPEMENTS. Based on a high resistance steel chassis, they are designed to meet forestry works.
With engine from 160 to 765 hp, they are adapted to all works, from fencing work to stumps mulching. The exclusive design of the articulated bogies allows GALOTRAX exceptional crossing abilities.
Thanks to low ground pressure and compact size, GALOTRAX is the perfect machine to work in extreme conditions (slopes, humidity, …).
Technical features
GALOTRAX are equipped with CUMMINS engines from 160 up to 765 hp.
The hydrostatic drive offers two speed ranges: 0 to 4 km/h and 0 to 8 km/h. The Suptronic system guarantees optimum driving speed depending on mulching head loads. This system combined with an engine anti-stall security provides driver the best use of the engine power, through the mechanical PTO. Balanced track carrier offers excellent obstacle clearance ability and optimal comfort.
GALOTRAX are fitted with pre-lubricated D4 to D7 Public Works chain drive system. Operator security is guaranteed by a FOPS-ROPS cab, which can tilt to allow easy access to internal parts. This air-conditioned cab is fitted with harden polycarbonate anti-projections windows, “High-comfort” suspended seat. Hydraulic functions are controlled by single joystick. The light weight together with four direct-drive wheels allows VARIOTRAC best crossing abilities. Strengthened forest tires, built-in reinforcement and FOPS-ROPS cab guarantee VARIOTRAC best security, even in the most extreme conditions.
Air-conditioning, “High-comfort” suspended seat. Mechanical PTO allows the use of many different equipments, with an optimal efficiency. With 160 up to 410 hp engines, no work is out of their range.
Technical features
PLAISANCE EQUIPEMENTS VARIOTRAC are machines designed to be light and compact. They are based on High Tensile Strength steel chassis, giving them lightness and sturdiness. Their size and the four configurable direct-drive wheels (idler wheels, crab steering, front wheel drive) allow to work in narrow areas.
In order to take the best use of the power available through the mechanical PTO, VARIOTRAC are equipped with Suptronic system, which guarantees optimum driving speed depending on mulching head load. An engine anti-stall system allows the best engine use, minimizing the failure risks, while ensuring optimal efficiency.
The hydrostatic transmission with two speed ranges is controlled by foot pedal (0 to 10 km/h and 0-40 km/h). Different tool functions are controlled by joystick. Hydraulic components from Sauer-Danfoss.
Windows (8 or 12 mm thick) are made of harden polycarbonate to ensure driver security against projections. VARIOTRAC allows easy transfer between sites, without using trailer for small distance.
