Description
VANDAELE woodchippers are built for professional users. All components have been chosen to meet with high standards for quality and durability. Very low maintenance costs.
Spare part warehouse has high availability.
The relation between height and width of the opening between infeed rolls is the widest on the market. Width is more important than height because :
easier entry of wide / irregular branches with side branches attached,
higher / better productivity,
less timeconsuming work with the chainsaw preparing the branches.
Assortment of chippers by relation between height and width of the opening between infeed rolls is from 12 x 20 cm to 40 x 52 cm.
Average output from 15 to 100 m3/hour.
Available engine-driven, PTO driven and track mounted self-drive units.
The funnels are with different measures. Long funnel with chain drive system or belt drive. Longer funnel for crane feeding.
Crane mounted on the chipper’s chassis or on the own frame. The intake speed and chip size from 1- 25 mm are adjustable.
The anti stress system is an electronic regulation device which interacts on the feeding rolls in case of overloads. It will stop the feeding when the flywheel is slowing down too much when chipping. Once the power has picked up again, the intake rolls restart feeding. System saves the engine lifetime.
Automatic feeding doesn’t require an additional person to be next to the unit when feeding all the time. Standard on engine driven units, optional on tractor driven units.
Cutting knives and counter-knives divided into sections. Damaged knife sections can be replaced without having to change the whole knife. Each individual section has the right cutting angle already, so no need for periodic readjustments and optimum distance in relation to the counter knife. No need to sharpen the knives. Some models has 3 rows of knifes to ensure better and more precise chipping.
Heavy and thick flywheel assembly for more aggressive chipping. Flies over whole length of wheel to ensure better blowout of the chips.
Flies are welded-on, instead of bolted-on.
Both bottom and top intake rolls have been heat-treated for longer lifetime. Each one of the intake rolls is driven by a hydraulic pump
For the safety reasons: emergency stop and plastic flaps in front of the funnel.
